run "killall -2 kmatrix.kss"
if that doesn't do it:
"killall -9 kmatrix.kss"
Or you could open a shell, do a "ps -a | grep kmatrix.kss" to find the process
number, and do a "kill -2 -(process number)"... (or "-9", if it won't
respond to sighup)...
