finally??found it:
(soundcard and midi-out was working, but midi in was not.?? The 
following just??gives a memory??address to MPU400?)
1.??YaST2 Modules -> Hardware -> Sound2. select soundcard 
(may already be selected)3. click the "options" button4. select the 
"MPU400..." item5. click on the "Possible Value" dropdown menu toward the 
bottom of the window , and select??an appropriate memory address6. click 
on the "Set" button7. click on the "Next" button8. click "Yes" to 
restart sound services9. click on the "Finish" button
