I think maybe you have to have something more than just the html code.
Perhaps some multi-part header info?
Because when I view your e-mail using kmail *with html turned on*
(a very bad practice, btw) I see the code, not the linked image.
Get someone with Outlook Express, or a spammer (there's little difference
these days) to send the e-mail for you - they seem to have no trouble
attaching images (aka web bugs).
