>I am using KDE at home and Gnome at the office for just the reasons you asked the question...to figure out which one I like the best. I have to vote for KDE. It just seems cleaner and the apps seem to be at logical places in the menus. I do not have any problem with KDE "start-up times" like others have mentioned. I love its configurability; a bit better than Gnome. Seems like whatever desktop behaviour I prefer, KDE can easily accomplish.
