[ale] KDE/Gnome show of hands?

Does E run well with Gnome??? I know it used to do, but I haven't seen much from them lateley, and I guess I assumed it was buffaloed.

I'm quite surprised by that as I run enlightenment on my primary box 
which I leave up 24x7  I know I've gone months without exiting E or 
rebooting on this box.?? What version of E are you running??? What distro?
