We are looking at some SNMP power monitors, and the WattNode devices
from Continental Control Systems (http://www.ccontrolsys.com/products/wattnode_modbus.html)
seem to fit the bill. (At least when mated to something like an
iBoard2 from Control Solutions (http://www.csimn.com/CSI_pages/iboard2WN.html)
I was wondering if anybody had different suggestions?
The iBoard2 at $450 isn't awful, especially as it is supposed to be
able to handle several of the WattNode sensors. The WattNode sensors
at $350 each though add up quickly since you need one WattNode for
each three phase circuit you are monitoring.
Oh, and is there a reason to not get the split core transformers? They
seem to be a bit less accurate, but having to replace a solid core
transformer would be really intrusive.
