[ale] double the network double the fun

hey does linux utilize both nics naturally or do you need to add a
package? im not planning on doing it with nics (well not in the near
future) but i was considering double the wifi :-p like i was going to get
a wifi card and use my moms laptop for a while and later get a mac and do
double the power :D maybe i dunno, anyways i was currious if linux would
utilize double nics if the bandwidth was available. something like a lan
with double to double nic. 

on a side note, has anyone played with wifi meshing? does linux do that by
default or is that a special feature/app? any new projects that are neat
or interesting that anyone is playing with?
